A few days ago, I received a phone call from my grandchildren’s school. My immediate reaction upon seeing the number on my phone’s caller ID was to think, “Oh no, what now?” Upon answering, this unfamiliar, unassuming voice asked for me by name. Hesitantly, I responded, “This is she.” Well, the lady went on to explain that the Pre-Kindergarten program had an opening and if I was still interested…and before she could finish her spill, I quickly chimed in a resounding, “YES! Oh yes, what do I need to do?”
